INTERVIEW | Richard Horne looks ahead to Widnes trip

Doncaster RLFC welcomed back Bureta Faraimo this week ahead of their away trip to Widnes in the Betfred Championship.

The Dons are back on the road this Sunday, May 5 with a trip to Widnes and head coach Richard Horne believes this weekend's opponents are more than a credible outfit. 

Firstly speaking on the return of winger Bureta Faraimo, Horne said, "Bureta has a lot of experience at a high level, he's been ticking over playing in union so he'll come in to the group fit and ready to go.  

"We've had a couple of injuries recently so we thought we'd strengthen the squad."

Brad Knowles could be in line to make his 150th career appearance this weekend and the Dons boss paid tribute to the pending achievement, "Brad's been fantastic for us, he's one of those old school players who just plays tough. He never wants to come off the field and he's had a real solid start to this season."

The Dons head coach went on to speak about the Widnes challenge ahead, putting them in the bracket just below the top teams that are currently leading the way in the Betfred Championship.
